Martha Siaba

KINDERGARTEN

Martha was born in Queens, NY but moved to Miami, FL with her family at a very young age. She always dreamt of being a teacher and studied Psychology and Elementary Education at the University of Miami. Martha discovered Waldorf education when her son was 4 years old. She fell in love with the educational philosophy and began to learn all she could about it, eventually completing the Waldorf Early Childhood teacher program at Sunbridge Institute. While her children were in elementary school, Martha had a Waldorf inspired home program, worked as an assistant in the Nursery and was the Parent and Child class teacher at the Waldorf School of Palm Beach. When the time came for her children to attend high school, she relocated with her family to Austin in order for them to attend Waldorf High School while she worked at the same school in the Kindergarten. Martha is passionate about reading, traveling, learning new skills, being outside in nice weather, doing arts and crafts, playing board games, spending time with her husband and two children, as well as socializing with friends. She loves sharing her joy and enthusiasm for Waldorf education with this community!
